Lighting: The lighting is dim because they are in the middle of the woods. The prey which is a lady lives in a house in the woods and her house is lit normally but she goes outside and it is dim out there.

Makeup: There is a lot of makeup used in this movie. When Maddie's friend comes over, she gets killed before Maddie even sees her but Maddie finds her later and she is covered in blood. She also tries to get away from the man and he ends up breaking her hand. Her fingers were all crooked and gross. Then, she ends up getting shot by his bow and arrow in the leg so she gets blood all over her leg. Then, in the end she kills him by stabbing a corkscrew into his neck and so there was blood there too.
Props: There was a good use of props in this movie. Maddie has a flashlight and a kitchen knife she uses to protect herself. The man has a crossbow. Everyone has phones, she has a laptop, etc.
Setting: The setting takes place at Maddies house in the woods.

Hush is a movie that I have watched several times and I love the scenery. It takes place in a wooded area so you already know its going to be a movie that has to do with isolation of the victim. There is a lot of violence and because the girl has a hearing deficit it makes it such a better movie because it does pov shots where you can't hear anything because that what its like for her.
I honestly don't have any complaints about this movie I loved all of its elements.
